    Visualizers are talented and skilled people able to bring creative ideas to life either digitally or in print. Usually working from a verbal brief or concept ideas, they use their technical or artistic skills to create ‘great visual design’. With their experience they would be supervising and mentor smaller teams under them.

    They are responsible for the visual tone, appearance, functionality, and overall aesthetic of a client project. They are an integral part of the concept process and realize the team’s ideas from information architecture to final layout through visually exciting executions. They are integral partners to the Art Copy Code (ACC) team. They work collaboratively with the creative technologists to ensure tactical integration and feasibility of all front-end creative development.

    Key Responsibility Area
    Design Concepts
    Visualizer will work alongside the Group Heads/AGH/Sr. Visualizer to develop design concepts and directions for all marketing materials, campaigns and multiple projects. This will require them to make conceptual and stylistic decisions. Creating layouts, mockups and prototypes is essential to illustrate their design idea. They would also be required to ideate with the ACC team to come up with ideas.

    Manage Projects
    They will be responsible to work on and supervise multiple design projects at one time. This will include giving timelines, overseeing juniors design and giving direction. Ensure that all deadlines are met, confirming clients are satisfied with the output, will have to troubleshoot and provide solutions to any issues that may arise in the project lifecycle. They also act as quality control for their projects by reviewing and editing their junior’s final products before distribution of any materials occur. They would be responsible for the quality of delivery of the projects allocated to them. Time management and efficiency in delivery would be their top priority.

    Conduct Research
    Staying abreast of the latest trends in the world of visual design and UX is important. To best serve their design department they must continually research trends, apply new design styles/principles in online advertising practices as well as interaction designs. They must also be aware of what competitors are doing in order to create innovative and new designs and concepts.

    Responsibilities 

    • Plans and executes the visual tone, character, and messages that will effectively communicate with the target audience and fulfil the project objectives. 
    • Ensures compatibility of design and functionality basis brand guidelines/objective.
    • Understands feasibility of proposed design and functionality concepts.
    • Supervise their juniors and mentor them.
    • Partners with Project Manager and technical team to define best execution methodologies and ensure smooth transfer of deliverables.
    • Constantly explores online design innovations and ground-breaking techniques that may enhance a client’s marketing message.
    • Works daily with the Art Copy team to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met.
    • Seeks approvals from immediate supervisor on all work before delivery to Account or Client.
    • Participates in brainstorms.
    • Assists in developing presentation materials.
    • Collaborates with art copy team to share learning and experience and to establish initiatives that will improve IA’s creative product.
    • Inculcates and promote IA values in every thought and action which will contribute to overall office morale, spirit, character and work quality.
    • Have a passion to create international award winning work.

    Skills

    • Should have strong research capabilities and applying it to presentation and designs
    • Experience in interpreting data and analytics to come up with a design solution
    • Having presentation skills will be added benefit
    • Enable implementing branding and positioning related projects
    • Implementation of UX and design principles in all design concepts
    • Have experience in implementing personalization strategies in UX projects
    • Experience in leading projects for customer experience designs
    • Should have experience in creating videos
    • Well versed with providing creative solutions at different stages of funnel marketing 
    • Experience in providing innovative UI solutions
    • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects/Flash, Google Web designer and other
      graphic production software. Ability to work in Dreamweaver (or other html editing software)
    • Experience in outdoor activations would be an added advantage
    • Have design expertise across digital channel like websites, mobile apps, social media assets, emailers, paid banners, multimedia production, branding, SEO etc.

    Qualifications

    • B.A. in graphic design, Communication Arts, or equivalent
      A Bachelor / Diploma Degree in Applied Arts / Fine Art
    • Must possess at least one to 4 to 5 years’ experience as a graphic/senior designer for any digital agency or web development firm.
    • Proven highly versatile design skills. Portfolio necessary.
